Steve Pointer, a newly retired soldier, on his first day out of the military, stops his car when he notices a pregnant woman trying to cover her face as she is being slapped by a man. He is black and the couple is white. He could get into a lot of trouble for stepping into this situation, it's the sixties and people are marching in the streets for fair treatment. Nonetheless, Steve can't stand to see this happen to anyone. Little did he know this night would change his life forever. |
